Horizon Beverages has signed a partnership with Horizon Animal Hospital to create a new facility for the animals.
The facility, which will be located in the south of Scotland and has been designed by Horizon’s own designers, will be designed as a veterinary hospital, with an emphasis on caring for the more than 400 animals in its care, according to a statement.
The facility will be a full-service facility and will include:a veterinary department and vet clinics for the entire animal communityThe first phase of the facility will house animals from birth until they are at least six months old and will be staffed by an experienced vet technician.
Horizon Beverages’ food will also be sourced from Horizon’s local food supplier, Stirling’s Organic, which is based in Scotland and is the world’s largest organic food company.
It comes after the UK’s food and drink industry faced a barrage of criticism after it emerged that a food company owned by the Scottish Government was selling animal-derived foods at a discount to customers.
